Lifeline Society Foundation (LSF) is a non- governmental, non-political, non-profit, organization founded in 2012 by a group of highly motivated Somali diaspora in Banadir region of Somalia. The establishment was when diaspora from different professional backgrounds came together and decided to contribute and provide humanitarian relief and development to the Somalia communities.
The aim of the establishment is to alleviate poverty, to assist the most vulnerable individuals and to improve the livelihood of disadvantaged people also facilitate the emergency programs and support development of the civil society through capacity building and the promotion of democracy and human rights.
The organisation sought in its programs to accelerate development of the rural / urban poor areas, increase employment opportunities, and reduce poverty, morbidity and mortality rates of women and children.

Lifeline Society Foundation (LSF) geographical focus areas are all the regions in south central Somalia with the headquarter is in Mogadishu and also operates in other states such as Galmudug, Hirshabelle, Southwest and Jubbaland State of Somalia.
To promote human development program and assist vulnerable Somali communities to improve their well-being through the introduction of integrated development initiatives and strengthen their capacity by building awareness towards prevention of human rights violation and enhancing the living standard of the poor community.
To create healthier society with an equal opportunity for all genders, having assured sustainable source of livelihood and skills to earn income.
